About Me

As the founder and lead consultant of DraughonCFO, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table in the field of Managerial Accounting and Strategic Finance. With over 14 years in the Finance & Accounting industry working with some of the largest companies in the world, I have honed the skills and knowledge needed to offer a wide range of services that can help transform your business!

Throughout my career, I developed a passion for bringing the insights learned at some of these large companies too small and mid – sized businesses. This process starts the day your business opens its doors with strong reporting, financial plans, cash flow management, and strategic capitalization ultimately driving profitability and sustainability.

 

I am a Tennessee native, born and raised in Cookeville, Tennessee. I knew at a very young age that I had a passion and natural skill set for running businesses. I initially started out as the typical young entrepreneur and built a successful lawncare business during college that ultimately landed me a position in one of the top leadership development programs in the world at Caterpillar, Inc.

I hold a strong educational foundation with a focus on finance, economics, and accounting. I graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics in 2011. I later pursued an additional degree in accounting, further enhancing my expertise in financial matters. This dual educational background equips me with a comprehensive understanding of financial principles, allowing me to provide exceptional services to my clients and partners. I am a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Omicron Delta Epsilon honors societies. These memberships reflect my commitment to scholastic achievement and excellence in the fields of finance and accounting.

 

When I am not working, I am passionate about pursuing adventures throughout Tennessee. From mountain biking the Carolinas, to camping and hiking the great Smokey Mountains; I am always up for good adventure or workout
